Allan J. Costa, Esq.

Allan is a native and resident of Plymouth and attended Plymouth-Carver High School where he graduated with the highest honors in 1977. In 1981, Allan received his B.A. with distinction from Southeastern Massachusetts University. At SMU, Allan was elected to the Board of Governors and Residence Halls Congress. He then attended Suffolk University Law School, obtaining his J.D. in 1984.

Allan served three years as a Marine Corps officer stationed in Quantico, VA. In the Marine Corps, Allan served as both trial counsel and as a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney and was honorably discharged as a Captain in 1988.
Allan is also very active in numerous civic and professional organizations and has served as President of the Plymouth District Bar Association, President of the Plymouth Sunrise Rotary Club, and Chairman of the Plymouth Area Chamber of Commerce, to name a few.

Allan has two sons, a stepson, and two grandchildren. Allan enjoys playing golf, target shooting, boating and just enjoying downtime anywhere near the water. Allan has a passion for martial arts, which he has studied since 1978. Allan holds a black belt in Shotokan karate, a black belt in Shalom Pai kung fu, and is currently studying Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
